Last night we welcomed members of the corporate film and events communities to the Grand Hall of Goodenough College to celebrate the best of the best in our industry! Our guests walked through Mecklenburgh Square, its beautiful greenery lit by JLL, to enter the venue. They were greeted with drinks on arrival in The London House, a reception space designed by Sir Herbert Baker. Our musicians for the evening, The Party Professors, played the grand piano to accompany guests’ arrival.
As the clock struck 6:30pm guests were invited up a rather splendid staircase and into the Grand Hall. Candles twinkled on the long tables which stretched the length of this historic oak-panelled space. Our host Kate Sturgess welcomed our guests and kicked off our ceremony. She announced our winners, sharing judges comments as we displayed clips of the winning work. Worldspan and The Edge Picture Company were recognised with the overall Grand Prix prizes, and DRPG and Plastic Pictures were named Agency of the Year in live and film respectively, with Strata and CASA Creative Studios taking the Rising Star awards. And so many more agencies, big and small, saw their hard work, creativity and craft rewarded.
A three-course dinner was then enjoyed by everyone in attendance, and at last it was time for dancing! Our musicians returned with a live music set that had everyone on their feet.
