Pure Communications Group deliver a cutting-edge tech conference

At Pure, we’re constantly pushing boundaries and finding innovative ways to leverage technology in our events. Recently, we delivered a cutting-edge tech conference for over 1,000 attendees from 50+ countries, including New Zealand, Japan, and Australia. To elevate the experience, we introduced technology-focused activations that stole the show. From Robot Homer, a brain-scanning beer-pouring marvel, to Mathilda, a motion-sensing prosecco robot, the event offered a unique blend of functionality and fun. Pepper, an interactive roaming robot, delighted guests by dancing, guessing their ages, and even singing, while her robotic companion Temi shared agenda updates in an engaging, dynamic way. These activations didn’t just enhance the conference’s theme of mastering emerging technologies—they sparked conversations, set the tone for innovation, and brought the future to life.

DRPG blend AI technology with powerful storytelling for Tesco

This summer, Tesco partnered with DRPG to launch a campaign for its ‘Stronger Starts’ initiative, blending AI technology with powerful storytelling. At the heart of the campaign was a personalised digital experience featuring British Olympian Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill. Through an interactive platform, customers could select a local community project, input their name, and choose a reason for their support. In return, an AI-powered engine generated a bespoke video, with Jessica Ennis-Hill’s avatar addressing the customer personally and endorsing their chosen cause.

This use of AI introduced a personal connection to the campaign, encouraging customers to engage with Tesco’s CSR efforts and share their videos on social media. By integrating technology in a practical and engaging way, the campaign made supporting local causes easier and more meaningful for Tesco’s audience.
