This week we were joined by webinar experts and EVCOM Partners Jeremy Stinton (Head of UK) and Casper Pedersen (Partner Manager) from TwentyThree, to discuss the rise of the webinar and how we can create effective webinar strategies moving forwards.
The world of webinars, they told us, has matured seven years in just seven weeks as the number of webinars being delivered sky rocketed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Webinars, they agreed, are not about content, they can also be about revenue. $0 investment in webinars generated 439,532,194 worth of pipeline, they told us, sharing key statistics and data around webinars.

Yet despite this increase, only 41% of companies producing webinars have a dedicated person/ team responsible, whilst 70% of marketers say that they are responsible for the webinar programme within their organisation. Jeremy and Casper underlined the vital importance of collating the data that comes with each webinar, encouraging people to look at not just the vanity metrics ie number of attendees, but the leads generated and questions asked. Currently, their research found, only 25% of people delivering webinars are using and integrating the data they collect via them.
