Today’s EVCOM Session comes in the form of a talk delivered by Laura Capell-Abra from Stress Matters. She discusses the importance of a well workforce and shares her advice on rebuilding wellbeing at the workplace as people begin to recover from Covid-19. Laura identifies three core pillars: insight, accountability and support. These pillars shape the work Stress Matters do, but they are also how one should approach wellbeing and mental health in the workplace.
She discusses the importance of a long term wellbeing strategy or plan, and shares tips on how to go about creating one that is aligned to the way you work and your core values, whilst at the same time, understanding that everyone is an individual when it comes to their mental health.
Thank you so much to Laura for sharing her invaluable expertise as we transition into this new normal, and for showing us how to centre the wellbeing and mental health of our people through this process.
