This is the 7th year of the annual Off to Work Event Photography Awards 2020 competition. Claire was one of the competitions esteemed judges and so we are delighted to be celebrating the shortlist weekly on our website!
The shortlists for the fifteen core categories are being released on social media on a daily basis over three working weeks. The winners will be announced during a virtual ceremony streamed on Thursday 12th November.
Competition founder and managing director of event staffing agency Off to Work commented:
“I am delighted and proud to be releasing the shortlists for this year’s Event Photography Awards, which I hope will go some way to support our wonderful industry at this incredibly difficult time for so many. The awards show the truly amazing experiences and moments that events deliver and, most importantly, highlight the amazing ecosystem that makes them come together. To all the suppliers, organisers, and of course the wonderful photographers who capture their work, you deserve huge praise and support.”
EPA Competition Director, Graham Hill, commented:
“The competition attracted some 2,000 photos this year, which were whittled down to long-lists of 20-40 shots in the fifteen categories. These were then judged by an array of industry leaders, resulting is a quite superb selection of shortlisted shots, that not only highlight the importance of events to commerce, but also to the fabric of society as a whole.”
