Having done my first 2 years of acting at college, I chose to do a 3rd year that included theatre production where as a class we produced and directed our own pieces with me co-writing, directing and performing a 30 minute piece with another class member. That was our final project but the project before that was a pantomime where I was the assistant director for, during the production and preparation for this, I joined a 16-19 BFI filmmaking course where we created a short film and I was put into the role of the director and fulfilled it. After taking a gap year, I’m now entering the industry in as many directions possible to see what best fits me as directing and acting might not be what I’m good at.
