Representatives of four leading event associations met up for a heated discussion about the value and role of the UK industry associations.

A growing number of event associations begs the question of their role within the industry. Collaboration between them and shared services are at the centre of joint notion regarding the future within the industry. EVCOM leads as an example helping our members to become more successful, launching tendering services, organising networking opportunities and educational services.

When asked how to persuade a potential member to join EVCOM over another association Andrew Winterburn said: “(you) can be member of both, as they give you different target groups, they give you different opportunities to make your business more successful”.
