Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Sales Director to lead the commercial strategy and business growth of Kaptcha. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and sales, with a proven track record of marketing strategy, revenue generation, strategic partnerships, and commercial negotiations. The Marketing & Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies to maximise profitability, expand market reach, and drive sustainable business growth. You will play a pivotal role in securing bigger budget projects, repositioning sales strategy around quality over cost.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their present and future needs.
- Utilise industry connections to proactively pitch our services and drive new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement the company’s commercial marketing strategy to drive revenue and profitability.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and audience behaviours to inform strategic decision-making.
- Shift the company’s sales approach from a price-based model to one centred on quality, innovation, and creative excellence.
- Responsible for implementing Marketing and Sales strategies that gets the name of Kaptcha to the right people – Marketing, Comms, HR and brand leaders and teams in purpose driven organisations.
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns and new business strategies.
- Develop and drive our sales process – including presentations and follow up materials.
- Develop and implement a methodology for follow up.
- Work closely with production and creative teams to align commercial objectives with creative outputs.
- Work closely with the CEO and Production team to generate quotes, leading negotiations and closing project contracts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- You will demonstrate a strong ability to lead business development efforts and achieve sales targets.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing, sales and business development role within the film, media, or creative industry.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative and operational teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for film and storytelling, with a deep understanding of industry trends and audience engagement.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills.
- The ability to think strategically and anticipate and capitalise on market trends.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and revenue forecasting.
- Familiarity with end-to-end production workflows and industry best practices

As Marketing and Sales Director you’ll be integral to the continued growth of Kaptcha – helping find and build relationships with Marketing and Communications Directors from FTSE 100 companies to start-up purpose-driven organisations as well as continuing to cement our strong relationships with existing clients.
You’ll work closely with Kaptcha’s CEO on the strategic vision for the marketing and sales plan. You will play a lead role in contributing to the long-term growth and sustainability of the company.
