We are very excited to announce that this year’s EVCOM Clarion Awards will now be taking place in the virtual sphere! The current crisis is still ongoing, and we do not know how much longer we will be observing social distancing rules. Our priority is the safety of our entrants and attendees, and the celebration of their creativity and excellence in the cause-driven world. It has never been more important to acknowledge the work of people who are trying to make the world a better place with what they do.
The EVCOM Clarion Awards celebrates sustainability as one of its core tenants, and so this seemed like the opportune moment to make this event entirely sustainable through online channels. We are really looking forward to exploring the possibilities of this new format, and we hope you will join us!
The virtual ceremony will be taking place on the evening of Thursday 16th July. The winning entrants will be announced and their films shown to all our guests. DRPG has kindly agreed to partner with EVCOM to host the ceremony from their studios.
Attendees will be asked to pay a small fee to cover production costs, and in return they will receive a party package including an EVCOM Clarion Awards playlist, virtual banners and more, to bring the ceremony directly to you.
“Sustainability is at the core of the EVCOM Clarion Awards, so in a way this is a golden opportunity for us,” says Claire Fennelow, EVCOM’s Executive Director. “It reminds us to focus on what this awards scheme is really about: positive impact through creativity. We are very excited to work with DRPG to create an awards ceremony to remember!”
Further details and tickets will be available soon. In the meantime, you can find out more about the EVCOM Clarion Awards and enter here.
