EVCOM today announced an extension for the receipt of entries for the newly formatted EVCOM London Film Awards and EVCOM London Live Awards. Already fully subscribed and with a record number of entries across craft and creative categories, the awards will remain open to 21st June.
EVCOM CEO, Jennifer Jenkins said, “As the leading trade association for agencies in our sector, EVCOM is tasked with driving up the quality of output and sharing leading practice across our member community. It is exciting to see not just the increase in the number of entries but also the global nature of the clients and projects represented. The UK creative industries sector continues to grow and EVCOM members are clearly amongst the leading players in the field.”
Jenkins believes the judging process has a large part to play in the rise in entries. “We invite judges from in-house, consultancy and academia to support our judging process and agencies do not judge work by other agencies. We continue to encourage in-house clients and commissioners to participate in our year-round judging process so that the voice of the client is clearly heard.”
EVCOM confirmed a notable rise in the number of moving image and live experience entries in support of brand communications across multiple platforms including digital and social channels.
Over 100 agencies will gather on 21st November next at BFI Southbank for a joint awards ceremony and after-party.
