EVCOM today announced an extension for the receipt of entries for The Clarions, the awards scheme that recognises leading practice in support of a CSR or community cause.
After a year-long absence, The Clarions make a welcome return to the annual calendar of events and are already over- subscribed. The most highly contested category is for moving image and live events in support of support of diversity and inclusion for both corporate and not-for-profit clients.
EVCOM CEO, Jennifer Jenkins said, “As the leading trade association for agencies in our sector, EVCOM is tasked with driving up the quality of output and sharing leading practice across our member community. That we are able to host a stand-alone award scheme that recognises and applauds work in support of CSR and community causes is important to us.”.
Jenkins believes the judging process has a large part to play in the rise in entries. “We invite judges from in-house, consultancy and academia to support our judging process and agencies do not judge work by other agencies. We continue to encourage in-house clients and commissioners to participate in our year-round judging process so that the voice of the client is clearly heard.”
EVCOM confirmed a notable rise in the number of moving image and live experience entries in support of brand communications across multiple platforms including digital and social channels.
Shortlisted entries will be judged in July with agencies meeting at The Design Museum on 5th September for the awards ceremony and celebration of winners.
