Rated number 5 on the C&IT Top 50 Event Agencies, BCD are delighted to join the EVCOM membership in 2019. Along with BCD and Grass Roots M&E, EVCOM are delighted to welcome Sparq, Screenshow and Pixl Evolution in to their membership for 2019, with more members to be announced shortly.
2018 was a transitional year for EVCOM who delivered a full calendar of member activities including EVCOMference18, Summer Shortlist Party, EVCOM Industry Awards18 and, of course, to close the year, the EVCOM Fellowship Luncheon. The peer-led discussion groups – the Campfire Sessions – and moving image series – Talking Pictures – have proved to be very popular and will continue into 2019. EVCOM’s engagement with their client and commissioner members also continued and this part of the membership community grew in size.
With a new employer-led Board in place, there is an ambitious plan for the Association moving forward. As before, the plan puts a continued emphasis on creating more business opportunities – and referrals – for members. EVCOM will continue to build on the early success of the RFP and tender service, delivered via member-only LinkedIn pages, to highlight business and partnership opportunities from across the wider EVCOM community.
“Representing the top 50 agencies in both screen and live sectors has always been at the forefront of the EVCOM membership since the merge of IVCA and Eventia in 2014. We are hugely thankful for the support of our current members in ensuring that EVCOM remains the leading voice of the live and visual communications sector in the UK, particularly as we see new, blended agencies and business models emerge.
It’s important for the EVCOM membership to match the growth and requirements of the most progressive agencies in the creative sectors. That’s why welcoming back previous members such as BCD, particularly in these uncertain times, signifies the value of uniting together as a membership trade association.” Jennifer Jenkins, EVCOM CEO
