The UK Top 50 is a ranking of brand and corporate film producers working in the UK. We have collected data from across the sector, assessing production businesses across more than 60 data points. Companies are ranked through this data and an advisory panel then assesses these rankings to offer a sense check and an industry overview.
The advisory panel of Marc Wright (Simply Communicate), Rebecca Pardon (Communicate Magazine), James Bennett (Televisual), Jennifer Sproul (Institute of Internal Communications), Claire Fennelow (EVCOM) and Steve Garvey (Moving Image) met this week to review the results and this is what they had to say.
“As a newcomer to the Advisory Board this year, witnessing the meticulous effort behind crafting the Top 50 report has been truly enlightening. With its rigorous methodology, this report serves as an invaluable resource, shining a light on the industry’s trends and performance. Beyond these insights, it also offers a roadmap guiding us towards future success, innovation, and resilience.” – Jennifer Sproul, Chief Executive, IOIC
“It is great to see the revamped Top 50 enter its second year. The results are based on robust statistical analysis and confirm the quality of production companies working in Brand Video today. I cannot emphasise enough how important these tables are for inspiring us all to achieve more the next time round.” – Marc Wright, Founder, Simply Communicate
“Compared to what? How can a company know its value and potential without comparison to others? How can the health of a business sector and the major players within it be measured and benchmarked? I am so glad that EVCOM and Moving Image have picked up the Corporate 50 baton and run with it. Surveys like these are an essential tool and inspiration, not only for those included but also for those who would like to understand more about their suppliers and customers.” – James Bennett, Managing Director, Televisual
We are going to be announcing the results at our reveal event on the 26th March. Steve Garvey (Moving Image) will outline the methodology used to navigate the survey results, discuss key takeaways from the survey, and announce the ranking! Following the reveal, guests will be invited to enjoy a networking breakfast. The event is sponsored by our headline sponsor Tysers, and our UK Top 50 sponsor ACrew4U.
The event is free to attend, and will run from 9:30am-11am at Close Up Cinema in Shoreditch. Please RSVP to Claire on claire.fennelow@evcom.org.uk to be added to the guestlist. Please note, there are limited spaces available so please send your RSVP as soon as possible.
