Early this November we gathered our community together to deliver our AGM, where Claire Fennelow (Executive Director) and the Board shared their thoughts on the year to date, delving into the challenges we have overcome and the achievements we are most proud of. Claire talked about the success of a 2023 focus on Senior Leaders which has culminated in multiple Senior Leaders’ breakfasts over the course of the year. She also spoke about her 2024 plans to launch a similar breakfast event model for clients and commissioners, alongside a new membership package just for them.
She also spoke about the campaigns we have been involved with this year, from our diversity and inclusion work to our commitment to offering opportunities to next generation talent. And she talked about the opportunities we have created to celebrate individuals and agencies within our industry, and bring profile to the sector through our awards schemes and the relaunched UK Top 50.
To end the year the EVCOM Board and Shadow Board then invited the Senior Leaders who have joined us at our breakfast events this year, to a drinks reception. This was an opportunity to meet our newly inaugurated Shadow Board, fellow Senior Leaders and the EVCOM Board and staff, with drinks on us!
