Job description/ responsibilities:
We have a new immediate requirement is for an experienced AV Install Engineer to be a key part of our client’s London team, representing our client. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.
Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical installation of equipment ie projectors, plasma displays, speakers, smartboards and equipment racks etc) and commissioning of the equipment
- Read, understand and interpret the audio visual schematics and construction drawings
- Attending site coordination meetings
- Maintaining accurate up to date records of the onsite installation
- Reporting to the Project Manager
- Representing the PM in his absence
- Liaising with their other internal departments, customers and contractors
- Health and safety awareness ie “toolbox talks”
- Attend training courses as necessary
Person Specification:
- Possess a good underpinning technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio Visual Systems
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure is essential
- Competent to a high level of computer literacy
- Able to work as part of a team
- Ability to think laterally finding an appropriate solution to fulfil an application
- Good communication skills both verbal and written, being able to communicate with our client’s executives to building contractors
- Ability to plan and organise work
- Ability to work to the highest quality standards with attention to detail ensuring that you complete our client’s work thoroughly, never walking away from a problem.
