Last week we visited the London Stock Exchange for the open evening of their event spaces. We were welcomed into the venue and taken up to the top floor where we were shown to their gorgeous rooftop space. Laid out for us on the bar was a fantastic spread of cheese and charcuterie options, bread and colourful butters, miniature fruit tarts and macaroons. Guests were offered cold drinks ranging from wines to non-alcoholic beers. A musician played guitar and sang for us. Stepping through the glass doors onto the terrace we were treated to a near 360-view of London from St Paul’s Cathedral looming large and close, to the iconic skyline visible in the background. It was a beautiful day for us, the sun out and bright (a rare thing this year). Throughout the event, guests were offered tours of the venue’s state of the art theatre, studios and meeting spaces.
Having hosted our EVCOM Clarion Awards ceremony there earlier this year, as well as a Senior Leaders’ breakfast, it was a pleasure to see the space again in all its glory and give the lovely contingent of EVCOM members who came to the event, the chance to see the space and hear about what it could offer to both film companies and event companies.
Thanks for having us, LSEG!
