Every year at the EVCOM London Live and Film Awards we celebrate the best, the most effective, the truly creative, in the corporate film and events industries. And this year was no different. We invited our shortlistees, judges and members to celebrate with us at The Pullman Hotel in King’s Cross. The guests entered via red carpet and were greeted with prosecco at our drinks reception, a chance for them to reconnect with their industry peers and start the night off. We then invited our guests to the be seated in the plush velvet Shaw Theatre. Red theatre curtains opened to reveal our stage where our presenter Kate Sturgess welcomed everyone to the ceremony. Over the next hour she announced our brilliant winners and, where applicable, screened clips for the top award winners.
Particularly popular, and highly-awarded categories, were ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ and ‘Learning and Development’ with ‘Brand Communication’ continuing to remain one of our entrants favourites. Craft categories on the film side were also favoured by our entrants, showcasing the many elements that must come together to create a great film.
Following the ceremony, our guests made their way through to the Nobel Suite where a three course dinner was waiting for them to enjoy. Winners took photos proudly holding their awards in front of our shimmer wall, and people danced into the night to the sounds of our live band ‘Soul That Swings’.
