Job Description / responsibilities  Your Key Responsibilities: 

  • Delivery of high quality, complex events across live, hybrid and virtual platforms.  
  • Operational Account Management of assigned clients.  
  • Line management of a team of Event Managers and Event Executives.  
  • Management and negotiation of client and supplier contracts.  
  • Project Health & Safety management to include producing Event Safety Plans.  
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Production and Creative as well as Third Party Suppliers to ensure successful delivery of event objectives.  
  • Drive the profitability, growth and activity of client accounts.  
  • Budget management.  
  • Support with management and implementation of departmental and internal processes.  
  • Management of resource planning.  

The role sits as part of the Operations leadership team and relies on a highly organised self-starter with exceptional organisational skills and proven delivery of high level, large and complex events with strong leadership and highly skilled commercial management. 

Experience Required  Your expertise 

  • Proven well-rounded experience in the event industry with experience in delivering large scale events with complex logistics across a wide variety of event types.  
  • Experience in working alongside production and creative teams on highly produced events.  
  • Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good business relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Readiness to travel and deliver events onsite in the UK and overseas, as dictated by the needs of the business and our clients. 
  • Highly skilled commercial. management and business acumen.  
  • Flexible approach to work, effective time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. 
  • Strong interpersonal style with the ability to interact and influence effectively. 
  • Experience in leading large project teams (10+ staff members). 
  • A self-starter who takes the initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving. 
  • Strong decision-making skills  
  • Strong management and leadership skills.
