The Hub – the only jobs board dedicated to the events, MICE and experiential industries – has gone fully live this week with candidates looking for work and a host of job vacancies from leading employers and recruiters including Imagination, IMEX Group, DRPG, GPJ, Sleek Events, MCI Group, Montgomery, BCD Meeting and Events, Mash Media, XYZ, Nteractive, Identity, DN Events, ACA Live, Expocast and You Search & Select.
The Hub is supported by 19 community partners, including leading industry associations AEO, AEV and ESSA (working together as the EIA), EVCOM, HBAA, NOEA, AFO, ILEA (UK & Ireland Chapter), mia, MPI (UK & Ireland Chapter), ICCA (UK & Ireland Chapter), and industry groups and charities including the Alliance of Independent Event Agencies (AIEA), Diversity Ally, Eventprofslive, Meeting Needs, Fast Forward 15, IMEX Group and EventWell.
Robert Kenward, founder and chief cheerleader for The Hub said: “The Hub is a community driven platform, created to enable people to find work, and for companies and recruiters to find talent. We have already had 390 people register and once they activate their profiles they can be found by employers and recruiters. We are already witnessing a growth in recruitment as our industry re-builds, and the next year will be crucial. To support this growth, The Hub is free to use for the next six months, enabling companies and recruiters to post job vacancies and to search for active CVs. It’s been humbling to see so many of the leading industry players support The Hub as community partners or by posting vacancies. The world has changed, it’s time recruitment did too.”
