This week – and just in time before the new lockdown – the CN 30 Under Thirty class gathered at the Odeon in Leicester Square for a socially distanced ceremony! Amongst the winners was our very own Amelia Brown, Marketing and Communications Executive for EVCOM.
CN 30 Under Thirty selects thirty event professionals each year that they believe are the next wave of event leaders. This year the scheme had over 120 submissions, showcasing fantastic work, especially in response to Covid-19.
The event began with a drinks reception and the chance to do some table top networking. A quiz tested everyone’s general knowledge, from Disney movies to logos, geography to sport.
Attendees then filtered into the cinema for the ceremony, hosted by Martin Fullard. He stressed the importance of being pro-active, putting yourself forward for panel discussions, making your voice heard.
One by one people walked up on to the stage for a photograph with Martin and their award. Some winners joined virtually, waving from their screens as their names were called.
Following the ceremony, the group went to Century 21, to celebrate their success together.
Amelia says, “It’s such an honour to be given this prestigious award, and it was wonderful to meet so many fantastic events professionals, to hear about their achievements and to get to know them! I am really excited to be part of this community.”
