PROJECT AIMS

A film to help young people recognise potentially significant issues such as cyber bullying, that can happen as a result of online video sharing. It needed to engage and educate young people about what to do if they do get into trouble.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE

The film is aimed at teenagers aged 13 to 17. It is shown to groups of young people in schools as part of CEOP’s Thinkuknow education programme. The audience collectively vote for the choices within the film, typically by standing or sitting down and then are encouraged to discuss the issues presented in the film. The film can also be viewed on YouTube and via a Facebook App.

 

MEASURES OF IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS

The film is currently being used by more than 4000 teachers in schools around the country and the feedback has been excellent. (See attached video) It also currently has a total of 349,656 You Tube views.
