Deloitte and Symantec required a film to highlight the damage a cyber-attack could have and demonstrate the benefits of getting the experts in early. It needed to convey how they take a functional, practical approach using proven methodologies and strict protocols to help companies combat this increasingly sophisticated threat.
The film was launched externally, firstly at Davos (The World Economic Forum) to a very senior audience, targeting senior chief executives, business and government leaders and then placed on YouTube as part of a viral campaign and sent out to clients and businesses worldwide. The film is also used as a sales tool in meetings and presentations.
MEASURES OF IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS
The subject matter is very niche but the film generated over 70,000 views on YouTube – an extraordinary number for such a specialist film. The clients’ proudest moment was when Kevin Mitnick (a well-known ex-hacker) tweeted: ‘This is an awesome video about social engineering. Great job. I’m impressed!’
