PROJECT AIMS

We were tasked to create a promo for Vocality’s BASICS Optimizer – a unit that sits between an internet connection and router to optimise data flow, reduce latency and eliminate jitter from video streaming.

The promo had to reflect Vocality’s brand values of simplicity, good humour and ‘Britishness’.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE

The intended audience were organisations where reliable transmission of IP based voice, data and video streaming are business critical (e.g: security firms, civil agencies, large scale events organisers). Firms using broadband over satellite were a particular target as satellite networks frequently suffer with reliability issues.

The promo platformed on Vocality’s website and YouTube and was used at conferences, trade shows and satcom industry events.

 

MEASURES OF IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS

Within two weeks of release the promo generated 7,000+ views on YouTube – an unprecedented number considering the niche market the promo serves.

The success of the film has had positive impact on product sales and led Vocality to confidently commission another product promo in the same style.
