PROJECT AIMS

Two-Six.tv is the Royal Navy’s quarterly internal communications channel. Each 15 min presenter-led programme features 4-5 stories and centres its messaging around 3 key areas: issues that affect its ‘People’, changes in ‘Equipment’, and the latest on ‘Operations’ that they can be proud of.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE

All personnel on ships, shore and battle zones. Families of personnel – reservists and Royal Fleet Auxilliary. Used by Warrant Officers across the Navy in divisional briefings via DVD. And online via the TwoSix.tv website and  YouTube channel which also shows video material produced by the Navy.

 

MEASURES OF IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS

Pauline Aquilina, Directorate General Media & Communications, RN: TWOSIX.tv has raised the bar on our internal communications – reaching a broader audience more quickly speaking in the voice of the audience. TWOSIX.tv has received excellent feedback, not only from RN personnel but from peers in the RAF and Army.
