PROJECT AIMS

As part of its ‘Widening Participation’ campaign, Cambridge University has been working hard to encourage applications from the best and brightest students around the world, regardless of their background.

This film must dispel some of the established myths that surround studying at Cambridge, without expressly mentioning any of those myths.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE

The primary audience would be students that are considering studying at Cambridge but may be initially put off due to some of the misconceptions they may have.

The film will be viewed at University fairs and events, as well as on the Admissions ‘Be Cambridge’ microsite. Teachers, parents and carers would also be encouraged to show potential applicants.

 

MEASURES OF IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS

Part of the aim will be to encourage students to do their own research rather than simply accept given truths.
