PROJECT AIMS

To engage principally with prospective future Officers, soldiers and Reservists who might consider a career with the Royal Anglian Regiment, as part of the British Army, by creating a new multi-platform web presence for the Regiment.  To introduce social media as a tool to conduct/enhance messaging.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE

Primary audience: Providing access for potential recruits and gatekeepers to encourage them to consider the career opportunities available within the Royal Anglian Regiment.
Secondary audience: Communicating with greater effect with current serving soldiers, former serving soldiers and their families.
Medium: Web & social networking

 

MEASURES OF IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS

Over 181,000 users on social media with a 312% increase talking about the Regiment. 463,000 people engaged since August. Spikes: with the launch of the site and videos. Regiment websites have grown from 150 to 4,000 unique visitors a month including 6,000 return visitors 26 fold increase in unique traffic.
