PROJECT AIMS

The Beacon Centre wanted to reassure new patients that they would be well looked after and to help dispel any fears and preconceptions they may have. We achieved this through a comprehensive communication package including brand design, production of an animation, 10 interview films and a mobile responsive website.

 

INTENDED AUDIENCE

The films and website will be viewed by young people before they enter the centre. The website has been designed to be responsive, as it is understood that most young people would feel more comfortable viewing the site on the privacy of their own phone.

 

MEASURES OF IMPACT AND EFFECTIVENESS

The project was designed through focus groups with current patients and will be judged in a similar way. During their treatment young people will be asked whether the films and website helped alleviate fears they had before entering the centre, and made the process a less traumatic one.
