Goodwood Festival of Speed (GFOS) is now the UK’s largest automotive exhibition of the year with both serious car enthusiasts and families attending (often a father and son day out). All of the main manufacturers have a presence, committing big budgets to creating engaging brand experiences for the 180,000 visitors that attend.

Productions Values

We used Volvo’s Scandinavian heritage to differentiate theirs from the other stands. A core part of their brand personality and unique to them, this approach gave us lots of opportunity for creating ‘something different’ at a summer’s weekend event in the English countryside.

Overall Effectiveness

The distinctive Scandinavian look with snow created instant impact. The different activities ensured visitors engaged with the stand. And the Volvo Kafe offering complimentary drinks and casual, friendly staff created a welcoming atmosphere with a total of 18,000 drinks served.
