Objectives

We were commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority and worked closely with the Executive Affairs Authority and a festival committee, headed by Her Highness Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to produce the second Qasr al Hosn Festival.

Production Values

The strategy was to reconnect Emiratis with their past in a way that would feel relevant in the present and the future, both nationally and globally.

Overall Effectiveness

The number of people involved, whether staff, volunteers or visitors help us understand the impact on the local community and beyond.

This year our audience increased by 23,000, compared to 30,000 visitors in 2013. We had over 60 souk stalls, a 350 Emirati performance cast compared to 176 the previous year plus 122 hosts and 200 volunteers compared to only 96 in 2013.
