Objectives

The Football World Cup gives Lucozade Sport the perfect platform to communicate to its target audience in an innovative, immersive and credible way. In 2014 Lucozade Sport set the challenge of becoming ‘the most talked about sports drink’ during the World Cup.

Production Values

We created the ‘Lucozade Sport Conditions Zone’ – a bespoke, state-of-the-art immersive experience based in the iconic Canary Wharf. The experience offered grassroots footballers the opportunity to come and play a game of 5-a-side football in the same conditions that the England Team would face in Brazil. It also provided the opportunity to demonstrate the science behind and benefits of Lucozade Sport for hydration to a larger audience through PR and social amplification.

Overall Effectiveness

There were 1.75 million video views, over 300,000 social engagements and an uplift of 8k on Lucozade Sport’s social networks during the course of the experience (Facebook / Twitter / YouTube).
