Project Aims

One of a series of 4 films created around the subject of passion for Barclays ‘Thank you’ campaign. The campaign aims to shine a light on the good side of football and the stories of all those who embody the spirit of the game. The new films alongside other activity were commissioned to evolve the Thank you campaign, to generate more engagement from football fans, making it more participatory and conversational through inspirational content.

All football fans, via Facebook and YouTube

Measures of Impact and Effectiveness

The films were released on Barclays Football Facebook page at approximately 2 week intervals throughout October and November 2014. The films reached a lot of people with more than 3 million views but it’s the level of engagement from fans that really pleased the client. On the Barclays page alone, the films received more than 52,000 likes, were shared more than 11,000 times and received nearly 4,000 highly positive comments from fans from all clubs.
