The Corporate Affairs function operates across all parts of the company providing a range of employee and communications-related services. These include Resourcing, Talent Management, Leadership & Development, Internal Communications, Corporate Citizenship, Corporate & Investment Communications, Public Policy and the across-company co-ordination of Brand, Marketing and Corporate Communications. The media studio is a brand new state of the art facility with full broadcast capabilities. It is a resource for media, client and internal communications company-wide and is connected to a technology hub which enables content to be effectively managed and distributed globally.
Purpose of your role
The newly installed studio is a state of the art, fully virtual, multi-camera, multi-person recording and live webcast/broadcast facility, offering enormous flexibility to the business for external and internal communications.
You will be required to post produce the typical day to day output from the studio. Projects often include; fund updates, investment outlooks, market updates, interviews/panel discussions, senior management and other internal communications. With video in ever increasing demand you will need to be creative and innovative with your post production ideas whilst always giving consideration to our brand and to the audience.
As well as editing a variety of footage produced by the studio you will generate bespoke motion graphics on a project by project basis, in-line with Fidelity brand values and guidelines. You will also be expected to work closely with marketing and communications in a consultative role to produce creative direction and concepts, all based on the studio best practises and workflow. This is most often achieved by way of scripts and storyboards.
Alongside this you will also be required to assist the studio operator and technical manager on the more complex and/or live studio productions. This will include but not limited to; operation of the robotic cameras, audio mixing, vision mixing, webcasting and other general studio procedures.
You will also need to organise and maintain a professional editing suite and video archive.
Post-produce all in-studio and out-of-studio projects
Generate storyboards and creative ideas
Generate advanced motion graphics in both 2D and 3D
Work as part of a global team
Manage the booking system and provide constructive advice to those not familiar with the studio capabilities
Help diagnose technical issues with all studio and edit suite equipment
Assist studio operator on all live and/or complex studio productions
Maintain the edit suite and video archive
Work closely with studio creative manager
Experience and Qualifications Required
Fluent written and spoken English (Spoken and written Chinese/Mandarin/Cantonese an advantage)
Advanced knowledge Adobe Premiere and After Effects
Knowledge of Cinema 4D and/or Autodesk 3DS max desirable
Experience working with green screen and associated technologies
Willingness to innovate and work creatively
Knowledge of investment processes and language desirable
Corporate video/film production
Studio/camera operation experience desireable
