Communications & Marketing Co-ordinator

Job objective

The primary role will be to assist in all aspects of promoting the image of the UK office such as managing the marketing, social media and PR for the office as well as assisting on business generation activities and database management.

The secondary role will be to provide support to the Group marketing team in managing and co-ordinating the automated emailer campaigns for clients

Main responsibilities

  • Use a range of marketing activities to build the UK office brand and showcase its achievements
  • Manage internal communication activities within the UK office
  • Provide MCI Group with content for monthly newsletters and publications
  • Be responsible for the upkeep of the MCI UK website and social media platforms
  • Drive online traffic on behalf of MCI UK and its clients
  • Writing content where required and editing case studies
  • Scheduling, co-ordinating and overseeing emailer campaigns with copywriters and reporting to the marketing manager
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and build relationships to increase the visibility of the company
  • Creating a marketing schedule and reporting results
  • Provide general administrative tasks as and when necessary
  • To represent MCI UK (and the wider group) as and when necessary or appropriate

Job requirements

  • Communications degree or similar (PR a benefit)
  • Minimum 1-year experience in B2B marketing and sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Sound experience of running campaigns on social media
  • Knowledge of analytics, analysing results and writing reports
  • Strong copywriting capabilities for both print and online including case studies, emailers and social media content
  • Sound working knowledge of Mailchimp or similar programmes and familiar with setting up and co-ordinating emailer campaigns
  • Strong social media background with minimum one year experience in B2B
  • Good organisational and project management skills
  • Good marketing knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail
  • A strong team player and can work independently
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure to tight deadlinesComputer literate in Microsoft products Mailchimp or similar experience an advantage (training provided)
  • Canva or piktochard experience or similar
  • Use of Hootsuite or similar social media scheduling tool
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • UK & International travel required
